My Phygital Art Philosophy: Bridging Digital Connectivity with Quantum Mysteries

In the universe of phygital art, I see a convergence of the tangible and intangible, the real and virtual, much like quantum physics reveals the deeply interconnected and sometimes contradictory nature of reality. Quantum physics teaches us that particles can exist in multiple states simultaneously, only collapsing into one upon observation. Similarly, my phygital artworks exist at the intersection of multiple realities. They invite the viewer to act as the observer, transforming the artwork through their presence and interaction, much like a quantum measurement alters a particle’s state. Quantum superposition, where a particle exists in all possible states until observed, resonates with my art. A phygital installation may seem static at first glance, but it comes alive, revealing its complexity when engaged, when the viewer interacts. Furthermore, quantum entanglement—where separated particles become interdependent, with one’s fate instantly affecting the other regardless of distance—inspires me to view art as an interconnected fabric of experiences and emotions. In the phygital realm, this interconnectedness is made tangible. A gesture in the physical world can trigger a cascade of changes in the digital, and vice versa.
